This metallic cube mosaic is flat and geometric, with a faceted metallic glaze that creates the illusion of depth – shifting between bronze, pewter and gunmetal tones as light moves across the surface.
Formed from hand-cut rhombus pieces, this modular pattern reads like an isometric “cube” grid – architectural, graphic, and quietly dramatic. Although the surface is smooth and level, the tonal graduation within each piece mimics bevels and planes, producing a convincing 3-D effect without any physical relief.
Specialist metallic glazing delivers natural variation, soft patination and occasional fine crackle, echoing aged brass, bronzed steel and oxidised metalwork. Ideal for walls, splashbacks, bar fronts, niche linings and feature panels where you want metallic atmosphere and geometric structure, but a flat, easy-to-clean finish.
Available to commission in a range of metallic palettes, from softened silvers to burnished golds and darker bronzes.
The metallic cube mosaic creates volume through colour rather than projection. The tumbling cube tile uses three tonal faces, while the bronze geometric mosaic changes its apparent depth as the viewer moves.
Scala di Rhombi – Gray Charcoal Silver offers a cooler cuboid pattern, while Scala Rhombi – Variation on Silver develops a more crystalline square module. Bronze Tiles provide a real-metal reference, and 24k White Gold Mosaic offers a brighter comparison beside this faceted ceramic mosaic. The metallic cube mosaic remains physically flat.
Review the metallic cube mosaic as a full repeat before approving colour placement. Coordinate joints and edge cuts, and assess the three-dimensional illusion tile under the intended lighting and viewing angles.
