Noble 2 Relief is a sculptural terracotta relief tile defined by gentle bias and faceted dimension, creating an opulent, light-responsive surface that references the refined decorative language of old France while remaining crisp and contemporary.

This design uses a soft quatrefoil module with subtle raised geometry that catches light across each tile, producing shifting highlights and shadow even in a quiet, tonal installation. The relief is controlled rather than ornate, with a sense of French architectural elegance – the kind of surface that feels “designed” without ever shouting.

Because the form does most of the work, it can be specified in virtually any field colour, from chalky whites and ivories to deeper tones, allowing the relief to read as either restrained texture or dramatic pattern depending on the palette and lighting.

The sculptural terracotta relief tile should be set out from the centre of the principal wall or panel, with cuts at corners, outlets and joinery resolved before fixing. Use grout close to the selected field colour if the aim is a continuous carved surface. Review several tiles under the intended grazing light, as small differences in plane, joint width or alignment become more visible across faceted relief.
