Tang Yellow Dandelion Tiles bring Neisha Crosland’s seeding dandelion motif into a warm, golden terracotta surface with a handpainted antiqued finish. Part of De Ferranti’s FLORIS collection, Dandelion – Tang Yellow is a 20 cm x 20 cm decorative tile for interiors that need botanical pattern, warmth and a crafted surface with gentle movement.
The Dandelion design is based on seeding dandelion heads laid out in a half-drop grid. This gives the pattern a drifting quality, while the underlying structure keeps the repeat balanced across walls, floors and feature areas. In Tang Yellow, the design has the warmth of ochre, pollen and old glazed earthenware, giving the tile a brighter and more sunlit character than the Celadon or Chestnut colourways.
The yellow tone can work well with plaster, pale limestone, aged timber, brass, bronze, antique mirror and other specialist De Ferranti materials. It is useful where a room needs light, pattern and surface interest without becoming overly decorative.
Dandelion – Tang Yellow is listed with a handpainted antiqued finish. The tile should be read as a crafted decorative surface, with slight variation in colour, line and glaze contributing to the character of the finished installation. The 20 cm x 20 cm format gives the motif a practical modular scale for walls, floors and framed details where the specification allows.
Tang Yellow Dandelion Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and external use in warm climates, subject to project requirements. Used in a smaller area, they can define a kitchen splashback, shower wall, pool room detail or fireplace return. Across a wider surface, the repeat builds into a warm patterned field with a calm handmade rhythm.
