Celadon Rust Frieda Tiles bring Neisha Crosland’s small floral grid into a softly weathered terracotta surface, combining pale celadon with a warmer rust accent. Part of De Ferranti’s FLORIS collection, Frieda – Celadon Rust is a handpainted antiqued tile available in 20 cm x 20 cm and 10 cm x 10 cm formats for interiors that need quiet pattern, colour variation and crafted surface detail.
The Frieda design is based on a small, dainty flower head laid out in a grid repeat. The structure is simple, but the handpainted surface prevents it from feeling rigid. In Celadon Rust, the colourway has a time-softened character, with the cooler green ground balanced by the warmer rust tone.
This makes the tile useful for schemes that need decorative detail without strong contrast. It can sit naturally with pale stone, timber, plaster, brass, antique mirror, leather and other specialist De Ferranti materials, especially where the surface needs to feel layered, calm and quietly worked by hand.
Frieda – Celadon Rust is listed with a handpainted antiqued finish. The two format options give designers more flexibility, allowing the tile to be used as a full patterned field, a smaller inset detail, a framed panel or a more intimate repeat where scale matters.
Celadon Rust Frieda Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and warm climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Used in a compact area, the tile can define a splashback, shower wall, fireplace return or pool room detail. Across a broader surface, the repeat becomes softer and more textural, giving the room floral rhythm without excessive decoration.
