Powdery Bluebell Frieda Tiles bring Neisha Crosland’s small floral grid into a soft blue terracotta surface with a handpainted antiqued finish. Part of De Ferranti’s FLORIS collection, Frieda – Powdery Bluebell is available in 20 cm x 20 cm and 10 cm x 10 cm formats for interiors that need gentle pattern, crafted detail and a calm decorative rhythm.
The Frieda design is based on a small, dainty flower head laid out in a grid repeat. The composition is orderly, but the handpainted surface gives it softness and life. In Powdery Bluebell, the colour has a quiet, atmospheric quality, bringing a cooler and more delicate character than the warmer Terracotta or Celadon Rust versions.
This makes the tile useful for schemes where pattern needs to be present, but not dominant. It can sit naturally with pale stone, plaster, timber, antique mirror, brass, leather and other specialist De Ferranti materials, especially where a room needs colour that feels composed rather than decorative for its own sake.
Frieda – Powdery Bluebell is listed with a handpainted antiqued finish. The two available formats give designers flexibility, allowing the tile to be used as a full patterned surface, a smaller inset detail, a framed feature or a more intimate repeat where scale is important.
Powdery Bluebell Frieda Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and warm climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Used in smaller areas, they can define a kitchen splashback, shower wall, fireplace return or pool room detail. Across a broader surface, the repeat becomes softer and more textural, creating floral movement through rhythm rather than force.
