Cobalt Marigold Tiles With Graphic Floral Movement

The Marigold design is based on a jaunty flowering climber, unfurling and furling across the tile in a highly glazed one-colour stencil effect. The pattern has movement, but it is not loose or chaotic. The repeat remains controlled, making it useful across larger fields as well as smaller areas where a single decorative surface needs to carry the room.

In Cobalt, the colourway has a stronger and more graphic presence than the softer Marigold tones. It can sit well with plaster, pale stone, timber, brass, antique mirror, bronze, leather and other specialist De Ferranti materials. The blue gives the surface definition, while the handpainted finish keeps the tile from feeling mechanically flat.

Marigold – Cobalt is listed with a handpainted antiqued finish. The surface should be understood as crafted rather than perfectly uniform, with slight shifts in line, glaze and ground forming part of the finished character.

Cobalt Marigold Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and warm climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Used in a compact area, they can define a kitchen splashback, shower wall, pool room detail or fireplace return.
