Imperial Yellow Marigold Tiles bring Neisha Crosland’s flowering climber motif into a warm, golden terracotta surface with a handpainted antiqued finish. Part of De Ferranti’s FLORIS collection, Marigold – Imperial Yellow is a 20 cm x 20 cm decorative tile for interiors that need colour, botanical movement and a crafted surface with sunlit character.
The Marigold design is based on a jaunty flowering climber, unfurling and furling across the tile in a highly glazed one-colour stencil effect. The repeat has a strong sense of movement, but it remains composed enough for larger wall or floor areas where the specification allows.
In Imperial Yellow, the colourway has the warmth of ochre, pollen and fired earthenware. It can sit well with plaster, pale limestone, aged timber, brass, bronze, antique mirror, leather and other specialist De Ferranti materials. The yellow gives the surface brightness, while the handmade finish prevents it from feeling too sharp or newly manufactured.
Marigold – Imperial Yellow is listed with a handpainted antiqued finish. Slight shifts in line, glaze, tone and ground are part of its finished character, helping the pattern feel worked by hand rather than mechanically printed.
Imperial Yellow Marigold Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and warm climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Used in a compact area, they can lift a kitchen splashback, shower wall, pool room detail or fireplace return. Across a broader surface, the flowering climber becomes a bright patterned field with rhythm, warmth and surface depth.
