Sky Blue Marigold Tiles bring Neisha Crosland’s flowering climber motif into a pale blue terracotta surface with a handpainted antiqued finish. Part of De Ferranti’s FLORIS collection, Marigold – Sky Blue is a 20 cm x 20 cm decorative tile for interiors that need colour, movement and a crafted surface with a light botanical character.
The Marigold design is based on a jaunty flowering climber, unfurling and furling across the tile in a highly glazed one-colour stencil effect. In Sky Blue, the pattern has a lighter, more atmospheric quality than the stronger Cobalt or Imperial Yellow colourways, making it useful where a decorative tile needs to bring movement without too much visual weight.
The pale blue tone can sit well with plaster, limestone, timber, brass, antique mirror, bronze, leather and other specialist De Ferranti materials. It is especially suitable for schemes that need a cool handmade surface, with enough pattern to feel considered but enough softness to remain calm.
Marigold – Sky Blue is listed with a handpainted antiqued finish. The surface should be understood as crafted rather than mechanically uniform, with small shifts in glaze, line, tone and ground forming part of its finished character.
Sky Blue Marigold Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and warm climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Used in a smaller area, they can soften a kitchen splashback, shower wall, pool room detail or fireplace return. Across a broader wall or floor, the flowering climber creates a gentle patterned field with rhythm, lightness and handmade depth.
