Jade Tango Tiles bring Neisha Crosland’s swirling floral motif into a fresh green terracotta surface with an antiqued finish. Part of De Ferranti’s FLORIS collection, Tango – Jade is a 20 cm x 20 cm decorative tile for interiors that need movement, colour and a crafted botanical surface with lively rhythm.
The Tango design is based on swirling, dancing, frilly-edged flowers, grouped in twosomes across the tile. The motif has a sense of movement, but it is not uncontrolled. Its repeated structure allows the pattern to work as a decorative field, while the green colourway gives the surface a fresh and botanical register.
In Jade, the colour has more vitality than the softer Rose colourway, but less graphic weight than Ming Blue. It can sit well with plaster, pale limestone, timber, brass, bronze, antique mirror, leather and other specialist De Ferranti materials. The result is a tile that can bring freshness to a scheme without losing the hand-finished character of the FLORIS collection.
Tango – Jade is listed with an antiqued finish. The surface should be read as crafted rather than mechanically uniform, with small variations in tone, line and ground contributing to the final installation.
Jade Tango Tiles can be considered for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace surrounds, flooring, walling, leisure areas, residential interiors, restaurants, swimming pool tile areas and warm climate exterior applications, subject to project specification. Used in a compact area, they can lift a kitchen splashback, shower wall, pool room detail or fireplace return. Across a broader wall or floor, the Tango repeat creates a green patterned field with rhythm, lightness and surface depth.
