D-Bar Mono – Sepia brings sepia ceramic tiles into De Ferranti’s Modernist collection by Neisha Crosland, using a reduced single-colour motif to create warmth, rhythm and graphic control. The sepia linework gives the surface an ink-like brown character, while the pale ground keeps the repeat clear and ordered. The result is a hand-painted antiqued terracotta tile with a softened, tactile finish.

Within the Neisha Crosland Modernist collection, D-Bar Mono – Sepia shows how a simple bar motif can create a complete patterned field. The repeated form has structure and direction, but the hand-painted finish keeps the geometry from feeling too hard or mechanically printed.

The tile is available as a single motif 10 x 10 cm format, or as a four-motif 20 x 20 cm format. This gives designers useful control over scale.
