


Shuttle Mono – Denim brings denim woven tiles into De Ferranti’s Modernist collection by Neisha Crosland, translating the idea of interlaced threads into a calm single-colour ceramic repeat. The denim linework gives the surface a cool blue note, while the pale ground keeps the pattern clear, measured and easy to place. The result is a hand-painted antiqued terracotta tile with rhythm, movement and a softened crafted finish.
Within the Neisha Crosland Modernist collection, Shuttle Mono – Denim shows how a textile-inspired motif can become a disciplined ceramic surface. The repeated forms suggest crossing threads or a woven grid, but the hand-painted finish prevents the design from becoming flat or mechanical. It has graphic order, but with a softer blue character than the black version.
The tile is available as a single motif 10 x 10 cm format, or as a four-motif 20 x 20 cm format. This gives designers control over visual scale. The smaller format creates a tighter, more detailed rhythm, while the larger format allows the denim woven tiles to read with more openness across walls, floors and feature areas.
As denim woven tiles, this design is particularly useful where a project needs structure, pattern and a calm blue tone rather than strong monochrome contrast.
