This handmade mosaic coping was originally designed as a pool drainage detail, combining practical engineering with decorative artistry. Set on the diagonal, hand-cut marble tesserae form a lively diamond pattern in a rich palette of terracotta, ochre, deep blue, sage green and soft ivory tones.

The circular apertures are precisely integrated within the mosaic field, allowing for discreet water drainage while maintaining the integrity of the design. What could have been a purely technical feature becomes instead an architectural highlight.

Each tessera is individually cut and laid by hand in natural stone and marble, reflecting the centuries-old techniques that define the Stone & Marble Mosaics Collection. Subtle variation in tone and texture gives the surface depth and authenticity - no two sections are ever identical.
