Shagreen Herringbone Briquettes is composed from elongated briquette units laid in a classic herringbone repeat, creating a strong architectural direction while keeping the overall look subtle and composed. Tonal shifts between each briquette add depth and movement, moving gently between cooler greys and warmer mushroom-beige notes.
The surface carries shagreen’s signature micro-beaded grain, giving a refined tactility and a soft satin response to light rather than a hard shine. From a distance it reads like a perfectly balanced neutral field. Up close, the texture becomes the feature - crisp, tactile, and richly crafted.
Supplied as pre-assembled panels on a stable substrate for clean alignment and easier installation across larger runs. Available in real shagreen (stingray) or high-quality faux alternatives depending on project requirements.
Recommended Uses
Wall panels and feature cladding, cabinet doors, drawer fronts, bar fronts, headboards, furniture accents, and in select constructions and protective finishes, low-traffic internal flooring
Shagreen use was pioneered by Jean-Michel Frank for interiors, architectural finishes and furniture.
