Bamboo Basket Weave Chequerboard
A warm, architectural bamboo laid in a chequerboard basket weave, alternating grain direction to create a subtle play of light, rhythm, and texture across the surface.

This panel is composed of precision-cut bamboo blocks arranged in a woven grid, with each “square” shifting orientation to emphasise bamboo’s natural striping and tonal variation. The result is calm and graphic at distance, and richly tactile up close - a contemporary take on classic parquet and basket weave traditions.

Suitable for walling, cabinetry, joinery details, furniture cladding, and decorative panels. Can also be specified as part of a mixed-material inlay scheme, paired with stone, , or shell for bespoke commissions.

Applications
